  • Overview

    As a Data Analyst with Advance Health, your job is to understand, develop and expand Advance Health’s data and analytical capabilities that allow Advance Health to turn disparate pieces of information into actionable insight. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in helping Advance Health consume, standardize, and interpret data and information to meet evolving operational and client needs.  

    Responsibilities

     Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
     Develop and implement data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
     Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data integrity
     Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
     Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
     Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
     Work with systems and projects teams to automate, maintain and improve/update existing reports and processes
     Develop standard data extracts/reports/analyses for senior leadership
     Interpret research and analyze findings to explain strategic/tactical implications on business
     Load and quality check data files from clients to ensure data is processed and available for downstream functions
     Review, analyze, and validate data and reports to ensure quality of delivery to internal and external clients
     Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, regulations and policies
     Structure and execute end-to-end analysis for internal or client consumption 
     Develop models for inference and prediction based on various data sources
     Partner with colleagues across the organization to develop analytics algorithms that will demonstrate patterns and actionable insights from Advance Health data
     Create reports using SQL, Tableau and other technologies proactively and based on customer or stakeholder request 

    Qualifications

     Bachelor’s degree in statistics, predictive modeling, computer science, or other quantitative field
     Highly proficient in SQL, with willingness to learn new skills rapidly as required
     Experience with preparing accurate logic requirements / prototypes and communicating them to developers to ensure accurate implementation of complex logic in products
     Demonstrated ability to manage tasks/projects to required deadlines
     Healthcare background a plus
     Experience working with and drawing insights from standard medical data types (MMR, MOR, RAPS, etc.) a plus
